§ 3 Collecting personal data when visiting our website

(1) When you use our website purely for informational purposes, i.e. if you don’t register or share information with us another way, we only collect personal data that your browser sends to our server. If you want to view our website, we collect the following data, which is required for technical reasons, in order to display our website to you and in order to guarantee stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR):

–IP address;

–access status/HTTP status code;
–respective volume of data transferred;

(2) In addition to the above-mentioned data, cookies are also stored on your machine when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your hard drive, assigned to the browser you use, through which the party that stored the cookie (here, this is us) receives specific information. Cookies cannot run any programs, nor can they put viruses on your computer. They are used to make the website more user-friendly and more effective overall.

(3) Using cookies:

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are outlined below:
–Transient cookies (see b)
–Persistent cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This particularly includes session cookies. They save a ‘session ID’, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the collective session. This means that your machine can be recognised when you return to the website. Session cookies are deleted when you sign out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time, which can differ depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings.

d) You can configure your browser settings as you wish and, for example, reject accepting third-party cookies, or even all cookies. Please note that this may mean you are unable to use all of the functions of this website.

e) Flash cookies that are used are not kept by your browser, but your flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your end device. These objects save the required data, regardless of what browser you use, and do not have an automatic expiration date. If you don’t want flash cookies to be used, you must install a corresponding add-on, e.g. Adobe Flash Killer Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent HTML5 storage objects from being used by setting your browser to private mode. We also recommend that you regularly manually delete your cookies and browser history.

§ 4 Objection or withdrawal with respect to the processing of your data

(1) If you have given your consent to your data being processed, you can withdraw this consent at any time. Such withdrawal affects the permissibility of your personal data being processed once we have been notified of it.

(2) If we base the processing of your personal data on balancing interests at stake, you can object to processing. This is the case if, in particular, processing is not required to fulfil a contract with you, which we set out in the following function descriptions. When asserting such an objection, we ask that you provide reasons stating why your personal data should not be processed by us. If you submit a justified objection, we will review the situation and either cease or adapt data processing or outline compelling legitimate reasons to you as to why we will continue processing.

(3) You can of course object to your personal data being processed for the purposes of advertising and data analysis. You can communicate your objection to advertising with us by using the following contact details:
